Getting Around on Race Day
Expect road closures and heavy traffic near the course. If you’re heading downtown, allow extra travel time and review our Street Closures page for the most up-to-date information, including recommended routes.
Cheer Responsibly
There are many fun ways to show your support safely:
- Make some noise! Cheer on runners with signs, music, cowbells, or friendly waves from your porch.
- Decorate your space. Balloons, banners, or a themed display are a great way to brighten the course for runners.
- Host a mini station. Offer water or snacks from your yard to encourage runners as they pass (remember to stay off the road and keep it safe!).
- Throw a watch party. Many portions of our course pass through residential areas, so if you live along the route, invite friends over for coffee or breakfast and enjoy the excitement from your driveway or lawn.
We love loud, positive support! Please be mindful of runners by keeping walkways clear, staying behind barricades, and avoiding items that could interfere with the race.
Celebrate at the Finish Line Fiesta
Once your runner crosses the finish line, join them at the Finish Line Fiesta at Hemisfair to celebrate their achievement. Enjoy music, food, and the vibrant atmosphere as runners reunite with their supporters.
