COURSES &DISTANCES

The San Antonio Marathon course (26.2 miles/42km) begins at Hemisfair, in the heart of San Antonio, and winds through beloved neighborhoods including King William, North Saint Mary’s Street, Monte Vista, Olmos Park, and Alamo Heights. Participants will pass by iconic landmarks including The Alamo and Fort Sam Houston, and through the scenic green spaces of Brackenridge Park before finishing their marathon back at Hemisfair. 

This inaugural course is USATF Certified and proudly carries the Meb Keflezighi stamp of approval. 

All participants will receive an exclusive participant t-shirt. Marathon finishers will receive a medal for their achievements. Designs for both will honor our inaugural event and the vibrant spirit of San Antonio. Stay tuned for the reveal of the t-shirt and medal design coming soon.

The San Antonio Half Marathon (13.1 miles / 21 km) begins with a scenic start at Hemisfair, right in the heart of San Antonio, and winds through beloved neighborhoods including Southtown, the King William Historic District, and North Saint Mary’s Street. Runners will pass by landmarks such as The Alamo and Fort Sam Houston, and enjoy the natural beauty of Brackenridge Park, before finishing their half marathon back at Hemisfair. 

All participants will receive an exclusive participant t-shirt. All Half Marathon race finishers will receive a medal for their achievements. The San Antonio 5K (3.1 miles / 5km) will be a USATF certified course. This Friday night 5K is open to all ages and abilities and will kick off race weekend!

All participants will receive a unique 5K participant t-shirt. All 5K finishers will receive a medal for their achievements. Stay tuned for the reveal of the t-shirt and medal design coming soon!
