Ambassador Program

What We’re Looking For:

• DIVERSITY: Ambassadors who reflect the vibrant San Antonio community, including competitive athletes, back-of-the-packers, walkers, charity participants, working parents, athletes with disabilities, and more
• COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS: Established ties and influence within the San Antonio and running/active lifestyle community.
• ENGAGED SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE: A public social media account with consistent posting and an engaged audience (engagement is more important than follower count).
• ENTHUSIASM FOR OUTREACH: Comfortable reaching new communities, building relationships, and inspiring others to be part of the San Antonio Marathon experience.
• PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS: Willing to represent San Antonio Marathon at events, group runs, or other public opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

• Represent the San Antonio Marathon at events and local races.
• Create and share content on social media.
• Volunteer at San Antonio Marathon related activities.
• Support local run clubs and inspire new participants.
• Provide feedback and share creative ideas to help grow the event.

What You’ll Receive:

• Opportunities to build leadership skills, expand your network, and make a meaningful impact in your community.

In addition, applicants must meet the following criteria: 

• 18 years or older
• Has an individual social media account that is public
• Has not been disqualified from any other races for rules violations
