JOIN THE SAN ANTONIO MARATHON VOLUNTEER TEAM!

It takes thousands of helping hands to bring race weekend to life and we’d love for you to be one of them! From welcoming runners at the Health & Fitness Expo to cheering at water stations and celebrating at the finish line, volunteers are the heart of the San Antonio Marathon weekend.

Whether you’re part of a community group, corporate team, or signing up solo, there’s a role for everyone. No matter where you serve, you’ll help create an unforgettable experience for runners and visitors from across the country.

Volunteer opportunities are available throughout Marathon Weekend, with roles ranging from the Expo and start line to the finish line and beyond. Individual volunteer shift opportunites will open this Fall.

Lead the Team Behind Race Weekend. Volunteer Captains play a critical role in supporting volunteers and helping race weekend operations run smoothly. Captains serve as volunteer leaders across the Expo, start line, finish line, water stations, and more.
