San Antonio Marathon Weekend brings thousands of runners, spectators and supporters into neighborhoods across the city. Here are a few simple ways your business can get involved, welcome race day visitors and make the most of the weekend.
SHOW US YOUR BIB PROGRAM
Offer a special perk to San Antonio Marathon Weekend participants and volunteers when they show their bib, registration confirmation or volunteer registration. Discounts, free add-ons and other offers can be tailored to fit your business.
Participation is voluntary, and the final list of participating businesses and offers will be shared with participants ahead of race weekend.

OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Make your business a race-day destination for spectators. Give supporters a place to gather, watch the race and celebrate their runners by hosting an official spectator party.

Consider adjusting your hours to capture activity around the races.
Friday, December 4: Consider staying open following the SATX 5K. Runners and spectators will be downtown and at Civic Park from approximately 7:00–11:00 PM.
Sunday, December 6: Consider opening early on Sunday morning to serve runners and spectators before, during and after the Marathon and Half Marathon.
Create a designated cheering area outside your business where supporters can gather along the course.
Take it up a notch with simple cheering-center supplies:
- Cowbells
- Noisemakers
- Business-branded posters & markers for making signs
Supporters may spend hours waiting for their runners, making a cheering section a natural opportunity to bring people to your business.
Participating businesses enrolled in the ‘Show Us Your Bib’ program will receive a window graphic to display at their storefront.
Place it somewhere visible from the sidewalk or street so participants can easily identify your business as a participating location.
