About San Antonio Sports
Established in 1984, San Antonio Sports is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform our community through the power of sport. Most known for hosting the NCAA Final Four, it’s our signature programs that offer free youth sports training to Title 1 elementary students each year, along with free fitness classes and 5K events that reach thousands that has inspired us to create the San Antonio Marathon. We are excited to partner with The Trust Group, known for their expertise in business strategy, revenue generation, race operations and course designs to manage the San Antonio Marathon. Additionally, we are proud to collaborate with key local partners, including the City of San Antonio and Centro, who will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of this historic race in 2025. Together, we are committed to creating an unforgettable experience that will showcase the spirit and energy of San Antonio to runners and spectators alike.
