How To Wear Your Bib on Race Day

Step-by-Step Bib-Pinning Instructions

  1. Position the bib centered on the front of your shirt, roughly at your torso or chest area. Make sure the number is facing up and is not wrinkled or folded.
  2. Start by pinning the top two corners of your bib with the safety pins. Repeat for all four corners of the bib, ensuring it is pulled taut but not so tight that it creases the fabric.
  3. Perform a quick check by moving around to confirm the bib is secure and lies flat. It should not flap or shift while you run.

Step-by-Step Bib-Pinning Instructions

  1. Pack your gear: Place your belongings in the CLEAR gear bag provided at the expo. You must use the clear bag given to you at the San Antonio Marathon Health & Fitness Expo to check items. No other bags will be accepted at gear check.
  2. Cinch the bag: Close the gear bag tightly, using the drawstrings.
  3. Find your label: Your gear check label is on the bottom portion of your race bib. It will have your bib number pre-printed on it.
  4. Attach the label: Secure the gear check label to the bag using the zip tie that was included in your race packet.
  5. Check it in: Hand the bag to the race personnel at the designated gear check area.
